Cape Town – South African radio personality Mark Pilgrim recently took to Instagram to share that he and his daughters received a surprise visit from a furry friend “for a bit of fun and interaction”, as he continues his treatment from his home.
According to Pilgrim, the dog that visited him and his daughters was a highly trained therapy dog.
“Surprise visit for the girls from Paws4U! Thanks for bringing 3 of your highly trained Retriever therapy dogs for a bit of fun and interaction,” Mark wrote on Instagram.
His followers were enthused by the news and sent Mark well wishes.
“How wonderful and so very special, what a great surprise for you, I’m sure you loved every moment, stay positive, strong and keep your faith my friend, keeping you in my prayers and send lots of love , healing and light your way.. Have a good and restful night, G-d Bless,” wrote one commenter.

In his previous post, the adored radio personality revealed that his body was depleted and that he spent much time sleeping.
“A lot of sleeping the last few days. Body is depleted. After chemo and immuno last Thursday it’s just been pouring out both ends. I’m like a shriveled pea,” he wrote in the caption of his post.
His followers commended his strength and will and sent more touching messages of support.
“Your strength is remarkable, your vulnerability in being able to share your journey is extraordinary. God will carry you through. Love and light,” typed a commenter.
“Getting rid of all the toxins to make space for all the good things like health, happiness and positivity coming your way. Keep strong. We are all praying for you,” wrote another.
