Cape Town – A man believed to be in his 30s reportedly died following a crash on the N12 east near the R59 split in Alberton on the East Rand on Friday.
According to emergency services, this was after the vehicle crashed into a rocky embankment.
ER24 Emergency services, who responded to the scene, said the wrecked vehicle was found on the side of the road, with the driver trapped in his seat.

“Medics assessed the man and found he had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead,” said ER24 in a statement.
Details surrounding the accident remained unknown, but authorities were investigating.
