The actress also opened up about the missed business opportunities due to social media speculations.

“I won’t lie, I’ve lost a lot of business as a result of people making up stories about me. People need to be a lot more cognisant that their words have power and you can destroy livelihoods and homes on statements that aren’t true,” the report quoted her as saying.
Last year, the media personality, who leads a private life, came out and dismissed rumours that cheating had led to her divorce from husband Quinton Jones.
This came after she trended on Twitter following claims by a social media user she had had an affair with businessman Edwin Sodi which led ultimately to their divorce.
Minnie and Quinton announced earlier last year in a joint statement that they had filed for divorce after being married for two years.
“In the last 2 years, our family has experienced incredible joy and devastating loss. During this time, we found comfort in knowing we had each other. Despite the end of our marriage and romantic relationship, we remain friends, business partners and loving parents to our beautiful son,” read the statement.
