Cape Town – Miss South Africa 2022 Ndavi Nokeri is currently spending time in New York, visiting tourist attractions, ahead of the Miss Universe pageant set to take place in New Orleans on January 14.
Nokeri, who was crowned Miss SA in August 2022, shared pictures to her Instagram account of her vacation so far, including a visit at Times Square and the Rockefeller Centre Christmas Tree.
News24 reported that Nokeri will be wearing a traditional Tsonga costume for the Miss Universe pageant.
She said that competing in the pageant “feels like such a full-circle moment”.
“I’m so excited. You know, [to be able to] follow in the footsteps of the incredible women from South Africa who have walked the journey… that inspired me to enter,” she said.
