Kwazulu-Natal – A Southern African Rock Python measuring approximately a whopping 3 metres was captured on a farm in Emona, KZN on Sunday morning.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) had been contacted to deal with the snake.
“A farmer contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at approximately 08:52 after he spotted the female juvenile snake near his geese enclosure. The Python had consumed several geese eggs,” RUSA said.
“Andrew Douglas from Ndlondo Reptile Park was contacted and on arrival, captured the feisty reptile which will be relocated to a more suitable location.”
