Cape Town – Hit reality TV shows Big Brother Mzansi and Big Brother Naija are set to cross worlds as Multichoice and DSTV announced a new season of the Big Brother franchise, Big Brother Titans, which will commence on January 15.
Sunday World reported that current Big Brother Mzansi host Lawrence Maleka and BBNaija’s Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will co-host the debut season.
The special edition of this Big Brother franchise will feature housemates from both South Africa and Nigeria in one house, playing the game for the ultimate prize of $100 000 (R1.7-million).
M-Net executive head of programming Nomsa Philiso said that with the merging of the two countries, MultiChoice hopes to showcase cultural exchanges and the excellence of the countries.

“In 2023, we’ll be starting the year off with a bang, which will be the giants of Africa coming together on the Big Brother version of South Africa against Nigeria,” News24 quoted Philiso as saying.
The show is set to commence on the 15th of January until April.
