Cape Town – With Christmas just a few days away, South African comedian Trevor Noah is playing Santa, and is showering teachers with Christmas gifts.
The comedian wants to giveaway 2o brand new XBoxes to teachers.
In an Instagram post, he invited teachers to comment on his post and he would be picking 20 of them to win the XBoxes.
“It’s beginning to look a lot like XboxMas! ? That’s right, and African Santa is here to hook some teachers up with brand-new Xboxes!
“If you’re a teacher, just comment below letting me know why you want one, and I’ll pick 20 winners at random. It’s that easy. Merry Christmas!” read the post.

The post did not specify which countries the giveaways were meant for.
“All those teachers who’ve been sending me messages saying, ‘Trevor, I’m a teacher. I want to get an Xbox, but I don’t have money. All you have to do is participate by sending me a message about why you, a teacher, want an XBox.
Could it be that you want to give it to your favourite student? Or could it be that you want to keep it for yourself so you can forget all those terrible kids? Either way, I don’t care.” he said.
Teachers from across the world took to the comments section, detailing stories of why they should be gifted with one of the XBoxes.
