Cape Town – South African TV presenter, Katlego Maboe, was in high spirits as he celebrated the birthday of his mother, whom he described as the “North Star that has always kept us on course”.
The award-winning presenter took to Instagram to praise the role his mother played in his life.
“Mama aka Sis B aka Di Mamzo aka Moruti Maboe – HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You are the North Star that has always kept us on course, the fire that has kept us warm on the coldest of nights,” he said.
“You’re our prayer warrior; our root keeping us grounded, providing the nurturing that has kept us thriving no matter what the circumstances.
“Thank you for all this and so much – no words will ever suffice! We love you forever!❤️,” Katlego wrote.

Last month, Katlego announced that he would be returning to host Tropika Island Of Treasure in its 10th season.
This came after the presenter returned to the popular talk show, Expresso in August after a two-year absence.
“Excited to reveal that I’ll be taking over the reigns in Seychelles for the All Star season of @mytropika Island of Treasure – catch me and all the smooth contestants this Saturday at 6:30pm on @SABC3,” Katlego revealed on Twitter.
