Cape Town – The South African National Defence Force has confirmed that the fire incident at the SA Army College has caused damage to the building.
The fire allegedly broke out in the storage facility of the college in Thaba Tshwane Pretoria on Tuesday morning, SANDF said in a statement.
SA Air Defence Force Fire Brigade and Tshwane Fire Brigade managed to contain the fire before it could spread any further.

“The extent of the damage and the cost thereof will be assessed by the Fire Brigade Chief during an already launched investigation into the cause of the fire including establishing the events that led to it,” said the statement.
No fatalities or injuries were reported.
