That’s how the family of Leila Lees, whose body was found in a vehicle submerged in a flooded quarry on a vacant plot in Stellenbosch, has described her.
According to News24, Lees’s grandfather Max du Preez, who is the editor of Vrye Weekblad, said he wished there were more people in the world like her.
An emotional Du Preez said the loss was a terrible blow for his daughter, Annene, and Leila’s sister, Mila, the report said.

“Our family is very traumatised, and we are struggling to come to terms with Leila’s death,” the report quoted him as saying.
Lees, 18, and her 19-year-old boyfriend, Ethan Kirkland’s bodies were found in a vehicle near a quarry in Stellenbosch on Monday.
The couple had been reported missing at the weekend.
