Cape Town – South African actress, Greteli de Swardt, and her husband Juan de Swardt recently revealed that they are due to become parents in 2023.
The Blood and Water star took to Instagram to make the announcement, and said she had been keeping the secret for four months.
“It’s garden day! And about 4 months ago we found out that our little pumpkin will be ready to harvest in April 2023,” she said.
“This is the biggest blessing we’ve received & can’t thank God enough.”
“This was the hardest secret I’ve ever had to keep & it feels amazing to finally share it. Thank you for all the love we’ve already received & everyone already celebrating this little human. We love you,” Greteli added.
Greteli seems to be extremely excited by the prospect of motherhood.
“I CANNOT WAIT TO BE A MOMA & Juan is already looking at tiny surfboards,” she said.

Her husband, Juan, also shared in the excitement.
“Late June we got the most welcome and exciting news. @greteli.deswardt and I can’t wait to be parents and help this little human find its talents. Pursue it full-heartedly while enjoying the simple pleasures of life with us,” he said.
He also praised his wife for her bravery during pregnancy.
“@greteli.deswardt you are so brave how you are approaching this chapter with all the changes in your body. You make me step up every aspect of my life and released some kind of spinal energy unlocking extra drive to serve our little family,” Juan added.
