Cape Town – “I f***ing missed the show, man,” is what Sol Phenduka said on his entertaining and informative return to the ‘Podcast and Chill‘ Youtube show, revealing that he had a suspected case of monkeypox.
In the recent episode, Sol detailed his time feeling sick, saying he suspected he only had a fever. He visited the doctor, after discovering that he had developed a rash. Upon the doctor’s inspection of it, Sol was told that he had a bacterial infection.
Sol said after he felt the medication wasn’t working, he visited Life Eugene Marais Hospital where they ran tests on him.
“They gave me some really good stuff. I got creams, I got meds. Each and every day I was recovering,” he said.
After speaking about his experiences at the hospital, Sol responded vaguely when MacG asked if he had a case of monkeypox, and continued telling his story.
When MacG asked for the second time if it was monkeypox, Sol confirmed the answer.
“Only three of us have it in Gauteng and I’m the third case,” he said.
Sol also said that ‘the government’ visited him at his house. According to him, they wanted the scabs that were falling off for further examination.
He said that he was unsure where he could have contracted the suspected monkeypox.
