Cape Town – Celebrity gossip blogger, Musa Khawula, who recently leaked an explicit video of DJ Lulo Cafe on Twitter, has apologised and promised to “do better”.
The nude video of the radio presenter, whose real name is Sikhululo Maliwa, went viral on Twitter last week.
Following the incident, Twitter suspended the celebrity basher’s account for violation of the app’s privacy regulations.
Tweeps criticised Musa for sharing the humiliating video.
When the DJ discovered he was trending on social media, he deactivated his Twitter account after apologising to his fans for the incident.
“I’m crushed and have no fight left in me I’m sorry,” he first tweeted.
On Monday, Musa took to his other Twitter page to apologise to the DJ and his family.
He acknowledged his wrongdoing and expressed his regret for his actions.
I would like to deeply apologise to Lulo Cafe and his Family, What I did was wrong. I’m sorry Lulo Café babes. I promise will do better. #FreeMusaKhawula pic.twitter.com/V3gvbOly44

He wrote: “I would like to deeply apologise to Lulo Cafe and his Family, What I did was wrong. I’m sorry Lulo Café babes. I promise will do better.”
Musa later tweeted: “I’m ok I was just apologising to those I’ve let down …I just need sometime and I will be ok.”
Khawula also apologised to beauty influencer, Mihlali Ndamase and couple, Michael “Mr Smeg” Bucwa and his partner.

I would like to formally apologize for the things I said a couple days ago about @MichaelBucwa & @ayamsani_offica. My actions were disrespectful and uncalled for. I’m sincerely sorry for what I said and will do better.#FreeMusaKhawula pic.twitter.com/oc7iN3d8KA

“I would like to formally apologize for the things I said a couple days ago about @MichaelBucwa & @ayamsani_offica. My actions were disrespectful and uncalled for. I’m sincerely sorry for what I said and will do better,” wrote Khawula.
However, the gossip blogger sent a sarcastic apology to EFF leader, Julius Malema.
“I would like to apologize for the things I have about Abusive Julius Malema. I also really wanted to let you know that I don’t give a fuck about what you think. In conclusion, I do not apologize,” he wrote.

Social media users reacted by suggesting other celebrities he should apologise to. Some, however, thought the apologies were not sincere, saying that the celebrity basher was just trying to save his suspended Twitter account.
Here are some reactions on Twitter
Musa is not apologies cause he’s sorry. Hes apologizing cause he needs he main account back. He can’t afford for that account to be returned and suspended the same day and also he definitely being sued and now must show he’s remorseful! Your pockets being moered
