Cape Town – CCTV footage has emerged on social media in which a farmer fights back against alleged would-be robbers at an unidentified farm in South Africa.
In the video, three armed men are seen entering what appears to be a farm garage.
Seconds later, they are seen attacking a man, presumably the farm owner.
One of the men grabs the farmer by his jacket and begins to lead him out of the garage.
They look set to execute him.

The farmer seems to be begging for his life, but within seconds, he seems to have made a brave decision to fight the men back, as he grabs the gun from his main captor.
He quickly overpowers them and starts shooting at them, and they suddenly realise they have met their match and sprint away into the darkness.
According to Daily Mail, the incident happened at 21:30 on Sunday, August 21, “when the farmer had gone to investigate noises in his open garage area. When he opened the adjoining door, he found three balaclava-clad intruders pointing their revolvers at his chest”.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after local armed security companies turned up at the farm at Kameeldrift West, just 20 miles north of Johannesburg
“They discovered a heavy blood trail and therefore, know one of the robbers is badly wounded. They also found a discarded balaclava and a knife, and are following up a series of leads on the armed gang,” the report said.
