Cape Town – Two workers reportedly lost their lives while another was rescued after a drainage system they were working on caved in on them on Thursday in Bryanston, Johannesburg.
The two bodies were recovered by the Johannesburg emergency services from the stormwater drain.
According to workers from a nearby golf course, the drainage system caved in on them, TimesLIVE reported

“One person was rescued and unfortunately, the other two lost their lives,” the report quoted EMS spokesperson, Robert Mulaudzi as saying.
He added that the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident were being investigated, the report said.
According to eNCA, the three workers had been working in the area since Monday.
