Cape Town – When reality TV star and influencer Faith Nketsi announced that she and her businessman hubby, Nzuzo Njilo, had welcomed their first baby together, congratulatory messages flooded her Twitter and Instagram timelines, but most wanted to know how she kept her pregnancy a secret.
The Have Faith star revealed the news earlier this week, sharing a picture of herself holding her baby and a pregnancy photo shoot snap on her Insta and Twitter accounts.
In April, the star denied rumours of her pregnancy which started shortly after the two were married in a private ceremony.
However, Faith has since apologised to her followers “for lying” in the first episode of season four of Have Faith and elaborated on why it was important to keep her pregnancy private, reported TshisaLIVE.
Her mother Linky Modise, also known as Mama Linky, weighed in and emphasised that pregnancies were meant to be kept secret.

“She was blessed with a bundle of joy. She’s a new mom … We thank you SA for respecting her privacy. You know she wanted to protect the sanctity of her pregnancy due to our cultural and traditional belief. All Africans know that. She went through that peacefully, happily [and is] growing into motherhood,” the report quoted mama Linky as saying.
The star’s best friend, Kimberly “Kim” Kholiwe had to work overtime, taking many images for content before her stomach showed, to convince people that nothing was happening, the report said.
