Cape Town – Miss South Africa 2021 Lalela Mswane has reportedly been identified as one of the favourites for the 13th Miss Supranational pageant.
According to Channel24, Lalela is representing South Africa at the beauty pageant in Poland.
So far, Lalela has been voted into the contest’s coveted top 10 Model of the Year slot, and has made it to the second round of the Miss Supra Influencer segment of the competition.
“I’m having the time of my life. Making it into Round 2 of Supra Influencer is an important milestone as the winner of the contest gets to advance to the Top 24,” said Lalela as quoted by the report.

Lalela’s Supranational journey was highlighted when she wore South Africa’s national costume, which was designed by Cape Town-based Lloyd Kandlin, who also designed the costume worn by Miss South Africa 2019 Zozibini Tunzi.
The gown paid tribute to her Zulu heritage.

“This is a very special costume. I am not just representing South Africa, I am also an ambassador for the Zulu people and have taken their support, love and blessings to Poland with me as well,” Lalela said in an Instagram post.
Her Miss SA crown was hair braided. She said it represented the power of black women.
Miss Supranational Finale will take place on Friday, July 15 in Poland, where Chanique Rabe of Namibia will crown her successor at the end of the event, The South African reported.
