Cape Town – Justice and Correctional Services Minister, Ronald Lamola, has vowed that his department will “leave no stone unturned” in its investigation, following the murder of two Boksburg community correctional service officials.
The two officials, named Mr Faku and Mr Moliki were allegedly gunned down on Tuesday morning in Duduza in Ekurhuleni, reports said.
News24 reported that the officials were shot dead as they were tracing a parolee who had absconded.
Police had since launched a manhunt for the parolee.

A firearm was stolen from one of the officials, the report said.
“The tremendous sense of loss is magnified by the tragic circumstances under which such a violent assault was unleashed against our officials. I wish to send my heartfelt and deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and correctional officials,” TimesLive quoted minister Lamola as saying.
He said the ministry and the police will leave no stone unturned in investigating the crime, the report said.
