Cape Town – A decomposing body was reportedly discovered in a forest in QwaQwa, Free State, with both the head and torso missing.
According to The South African, the body was discovered last week by a teenager who was collecting wood near the Sekoto river.
The individual was yet to be identified.
The specifics of the situation were also unknown.

Police were trying to piece together the circumstances that led to the person’s death, EWN reported.
“An inquest has been opened to determine the cause of death. We are still waiting for relatives or family or a next of kin who might report that a person has been missing,” police spokesperson Mmako Mophiring said as quoted by the report.
