Cape Town – A 69-year-old Cape Town businessman has reportedly been reunited with his family unharmed after he was kidnapped 111 days ago outside his business office in Parow.
According to The Citizen, an intelligence-driven operation led to the rescue of Ismail Rajah who was kidnapped in March this year.
The report said the founding CEO of Good Hope Construction business was grabbed by a gang armed with AK-47s and shoved into an Audi Q7 booth.
“Following his kidnapping, a ransom demand was made to his family. It is reported that the family were already en route to Dubai to expedite the ransom payment when the Saps National Anti-Kidnapping Task Team was roped in to investigate,” police spokesperson Colonel Athlenda Mathe was quoted as saying.

Two Mozambican nationals and two South Africans between the ages of 30 and 38-years-old were arrested.
News24 said that Rajah was found in a house in Khayelitsha in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Police confiscated cellphones and various equipment which was suspected to have been used in the commission of the crime, the report said.
The suspects were set to appear in the Parow Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
