Cape Town – South African television presenter Ayanda Thabethe has issued a stern warning to those who are spreading rumours that she is dating a married man.
Ayanda topped the Twitter charts recently after gossip blogger Musa Khawula alleged that her baby daddy, Peter Matsimbe, was a married man.
She rubbished the claims.
“I definitely am NOT dating nor do I have a child with a married OR even engaged man. As you were,” Ayanda wrote in a tweet.

When Ayanda celebrated Peter’s birthday recently, she shared their moments on Instagram.
In a matter of time, she faced the wrath of tweeps, as she was labelled a homewrecker for allegedly dating a married man.
Ayanda with the support of Peter issued a statement via her attorneys, saying that Peter was not in any marriage or union that was recognised by any law.
The statement further said that action will be taken against the perpetrators who were spreading the rumours.
“The rumor that Ms. Thabethe is in a relationship with a married man, is not true and we have not been provided with evidence proving otherwise. PM (Peter Matsimbe) is not in any marriage or union recognised by any law.
“We are aware of the social “pages” that started the rumors about Ms. Thabethe, and the perpetrators are currently being investigated. Action will be taken against the perpetrators and we again encourage you to refrain from spreading false information,” reads the statement.
