Cape Town – The businessman who was shot dead at Tashas restaurant in Rosebank Mall on Thursday has reportedly been identified as Jason Lambe.
Lambe was shot multiple times by two masked gunmen who allegedly got off a vehicle and walked into the restaurant and shot the victim in what was alleged to be a hit.
Reports alleged that Lambe was armed at the time of his death and was with two companions, who allegedly fled the scene as soon as he was shot.
Although the motive behind his murder still remained unknown, reports alleged that the two suspects who shot Lambe were Arabic.

New24 said that Lambe from Asia was armed at the time of his shooting but was too late to defend himself.
The report also said that had South African driver’s licence and a United Arab Emirates (UAE) residency permit when he died.
A shocked long time friend and business partner of Lambe, Vijay Ghanshamdas, reportedly said he and Lambe’s had been partners in two ventures including a supply business in the hydroponic cannabis industry, TimesLive reported.
