Cape Town – Former finance minister Tito Mboweni left social media abuzz last week when he asked about the whereabouts of TV and radio host Phat Joe.
“There used to be a young man called Phat Joe on the radio. Where is he now? He interviewed me from time to time. Phat Joe, where are you?,” Mboweni asked on Twitter.

Tweeps responded to Mboweni’s tweet, with some suggesting that he invites Phat Joe for dinner for a reunion.
Mboweni is known for preparing his own meals and sharing pictures of the meals while preparing and when dining.
Others left messages on Phat Joe’s Twitter account, urging him to respond to Mboweni’s call.
Phat Joe responded to the tweets, saying: “Ok ok ok… I’m here everyone. Just been busy trying to save the world.”
