Cape Town – South African musician Thokozani Ndlovu, popularly known as Lvovo Derrango was reportedly involved in a car accident in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday night.
According to Sunday World, at the time of the accident Lvovo Lvovo was driving alone in his silver VW Polo.
A tipper truck drove onto the oncoming traffic and smashed his vehicle.
“I was driving home alone on Tuesday night when a tipper truck drove straight to me. I couldn’t avoid a head-on collision.

“I am in hospital right now, but I am getting better. I thank God and my ancestors that I survived the accident. I could have died based on the impact that had happened. I thank my lucky stars that I came out alive, as others do not survive such accidents,” said Lvovo as quoted by the report.
Lvovo suffered injuries to his hip.
The musician took to Instagram to let his fans know that he will tell them what happened once fully recovered.
“I will tell u a story once I’m fully recovered,” wrote Lvovo in an Instagram post.

Lvovo shot to fame in 2007 with the song Bayang’sukela.
This is not the first time he’s been involved in a car accident. According to Herald Live, In 2020 Lvovo was admitted to St Augustine’s Netcare hospital in KwaZulu-Natal after being involved in a horrific accident that happened on the N2 highway near Scottburgh, as he was returning from a meeting.
