Cape Town – Model and TV host Minki Van Der Westhuizen took to Instagram on Sunday to share with her multitude of followers just how grateful she was about life in general.
According to The Citizen, the beaut was celebrating her recent birthday.
She turned 38.
She posted a cute picture of herself surrounded by her children in bed and they were all smiles amidst hugs and visible affection.
“This morning I am grateful. Just so incredibly grateful for everything in my life,” she said.

She credited her husband, Ernst Joubert, for taking the memorable photo.

Joubert also took to his Instagram account to dedicate a special post to his doting wife. He shared a colourful picture of Minki donned in a pink one-armed ensemble posing with a bottle of champagne in her hand, as she smiles to the camera.
“It’s this wonderful human’s birthday today. I couldn’t have asked for better. You are top fun,” said Joubert about his wife.
The two have three children together – Katerien, Elise and Elsa.
