Cape Town – DJ Sbu has left social media users with mixed reactions after he shared a video clip of himself asking people to hug a tree inorder to connect to nature.
In the short video clip, S’bu speaks about the power of nature and how people need to align themselves spiritually with it inorder to discover themselves more.
“When you know who you are, you get to connect with nature, when you do so, nature allows you to develop spiritually until your third eye is open,” he says.

He explains that when the third eye opens up that’s when life starts changing, and maturity kicks in because it means people are becoming in tune with nature.
In the clip the entrepreneur House music DJ is practicing what he preaches by walking barefooted, as he advises his followers to every now and again try to do the same, so as to connect with Mother Nature.

“From time to time when you get a chance, just walk barefooted, just walk barefooted, either on your green grass, or the floor. When you get the chance just hug a tree. You can hug a tree for like 2-3 minutes,” he said.
Social media users have different thoughts about the video, with some saying it’s bizarre, while some seem to understand what the DJ is trying to convey.
