Cape Town – DJ Fresh and his wife of more than two decades, Thabiso Sikwane, have issued a joint statement confirming the speculation regarding their pending divorce.
The couple confirmed the divorce and said that they are in the process of finalising finer details.
“We’ve been separated most, if not all, of lockdown and we are finalising the finer details. We still have each other’s backs. I think people are expecting drama but there will never be drama between us because we’ll always love each other,” said DJ Fresh.

The pair who are donning smiles and jubilation in the 2-minute video remain adamant that their divorce is amicable and they have been planning it for the past two years.

Earlier, SundayWorld reported that the news of the couple heading for divorce “was revealed by close family friends who did not want to be named for fear of ruining their friendship with one of Mzansi’s power couple”.

The pair reportedly met at YFM studios when DJ Fresh was still working there at the time and Thabiso was a newsreader.
They got married in 2002.
They share three children together that they’ve mutually agreed that custody of will be under Thabiso.
