Cape Town – The Twitter streets were ablaze this week after award-winning rapper, AKA, chastised an upcoming young artist for asking for his help in gaining entry into the show-business.
AKA shared a snapshot of a DM he got seemingly from a fan who also wanted to be as successful as the ‘Fela in Versace‘ hitmaker.

In the screen-grabbed image, the young follower said that he was done begging the rapper to listen to his beats, after he had gone all out of his way to get his assistance.
“I’m done begging you to listen to my beats, I’m done begging you for anything. I came to your birthday, I halla’d at you, you ignored.
“I became an embarrassment after all the sacrifices I took to come through, why didn’t you just tell me from the beginning that I’m nagging you?

“All of that is ending today you will never ever hear from me asking you for anything I’m even blocking you,” wrote the aspiring rapper.
AKA soon afterwards shared his thoughts about how he also struggled to gain entry into the entertainment industry in his early days as an aspiring young rapper.
“You think this game is for everybody. Newsflash. 90% of everybody’s music is trash. I had to exchange many numbers before we could even get the chance to be in the same studio as Khuli or K.O or Linda,” he said.
He added: “You think you gone just text me & I’m just gonna put you on my back? You dreaming.”
