Cape Town – Media personality Jonathan Boynton-Lee has shared fond memories of his friend Simba Mhere on the late Top Billing presenter’s death anniversary.
Boynton-Lee took to his Instagram account recently to share a post on how he still has his late friend’s back after the tragic car accident that claimed his life seven years ago.
“Seven years since you’ve been gone. The legacy continues. I still got your back,” he captioned the post with a heart emoji.
Mhere died in a tragic car collision, together with a companion Kady-Shay O’Brien on William Nicol Drive in Johannesburg.
A speeding vehicle crashed into them during the early hours of the morning.
The driver of the vehicle was found guilty of causing their deaths and was subsequently sentenced to ten years imprisonment in 2018.
