Cape Town – Well-known Afrikaans singer Theuns Jordaan has died at the age of 50.
According to IOL, Jordaan died on Wednesday after a long battle with cancer.
Back in 2020, the musician revealed that he had been diagnosed with leukemia.
However, he seemed to be recovering well until this year in March where he had a bone marrow transplant, according to The Citizen.

Jordaan was known for songs such as “Soos Bloed“ and “Beautuful in Beaufort-West”.
He was one of the most successful South African artists, with numerous awards during his career, and has sold more than one million records.
Since the shocking announcement, fans and friends have been expressing their grief and sending their condolences to the Jordaan family.
