Cape Town – South African rapper AKA, real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, has ruffled some feathers by sharing his thoughts on the latest development in the DJ-ing space.
“Not so long ago every second hun was a rapper. Now everyone’s a DJ,” the Fela In Versace hitmaker wrote on his Instagram account.

According to IOL, his remark comes as more women, including DBN Gogo, Thuli Phongolo and viral sensation Uncle Waffles have recently entered the DJ-ing space.
It also comes at a time when the debate over female DJs requiring certain looks and not necessarily talent to succeed in the DJ industry, is still raging.
