Cape Town – South African musician Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, popularly known as Makhadzi has landed on the wrong side of the Twittersphere.
The singer was recently chastised for wearing the colours of South Africa’s ruling party, the African National Congress (ANC).
According to The Citizen, President Cyril Ramaphosa invited the Ghanama hitmaker to perform in Limpopo during the ANC’s rally in her home province over the weekend as the municipal elections day approaches.

In response to the invitation, Makhadzi shared a now-deleted photo of herself dressed in the ANC’s signature colours of green, yellow, and black.
Hundreds of South Africans, however, were outraged by the image and flocked to the comment section, where they chastised the star for supporting the ANC.

Makhadzi is gifted musically but politically ngathi ujwayela ama South Africans amasimba.
She can’t be supporting the same ANC that hasn’t put roads or running water in her home province.
She must stay away from politics and support her ANC in private!
