Johannesburg – The magistrate who approved bail for the accused in the Zanzou nightclub assault case stated that the accused had demonstrated it was in the interest of justice to grant his release.
According to reports, despite the severity of the allegations, Magistrate Ernest Mbembele ruled that the accused had demonstrated that his release was in the interest of justice, citing his financial responsibility towards his wife and children.
