Cape Town – Former Miss South Africa, Natasha Joubert, now Natasha Vermaak, and her husband, Enrico Vermaak, have begun their honeymoon in Mauritius after a glamorous wedding at Cavalli Estate in the Cape Winelands.
Natasha shared on Instagram that she had previously visited Mauritius but had never experienced its leisure side, making this trip extra special.
She emphasised their desire to relax after the hectic wedding preparations, choosing the island for its warm weather and tranquil atmosphere.
“Our honeymoon.❤️ I’ve been to Mauritius twice, and both times did not get to experience the leisure side of it, no one better than spending it with my husband.
“We’ve planned and booked our entire trip with @worldleisureholidays, to save admin and to get the best out of our stay. Wedding planning kept us so busy that we are so glad we planned it this way! We have arrived at @shangrilamauritius and can’t wait to share our trip with you,” she captioned an Instagram post.

Despite an initially gloomy sky, she noted the weather was beautifully humid. The couple, exhausted from their wedding, opted for a quiet first night with room service.
