Johannesburg – Johannesburg Emergency Services reported no major incidents despite torrential rain causing flash floods in some areas.
The South African Weather Service (Saws) had warned of severe thunderstorms and flooding.
Motorists were urged to exercise caution due to wet and slippery roads.
