Cape Town — South African music duo Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa – known as the Scorpion Kings – have officially unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The shocking revelation has led many to believe the duo have split and parted ways. This comes a year after the two were rumoured to have split amid beef between the two.
According to The South African, the reasons at the time were that Kabza was unhappy with DJ Maphorisa’s Live seasons where he bragged about thrusting him into the limelight.

In March 2024, DJ Maphorisa took a swipe at fans for asking him about Kabza De Small’s whereabouts amid their rumoured fallout. He also revealed that Kabza had bought a home and a studio. Last year, Kabza also said the “Scorpion Kings” were still friends.
However, it appears that things between the two friends have changed and the two unfollowed each other on Instagram. This was seemingly confirmed by the fact that the two artists also deleted all posts featuring the other on their respective Instagram pages.
The two are now taking bookings through their record labels, with DJ Maphorisa using Blaqboy Music and Kabza De Small using Piano Hub, with both artists also now performing alone.
