Cape Town – Former Proteas cricketer JP Duminy and his wife, Sue, have announced their separation after more than a decade of marriage.
They shared the news on Instagram, reflecting on their memorable moments together and their two daughters.
JP asked for privacy during this transition, emphasising their amicable split and continued friendship.
“After much consideration, Sue and I have decided to part ways. We are fortunate to have shared many memorable moments together during our marriage and blessed with two beautiful daughters,” he wrote.

Speculation about their relationship status arose when fans noticed a decline in shared posts on social media.
The couple first met in 2008, got engaged in 2009, and married in 2011. They welcomed their daughters, Isabella in 2015 and Alexa-Rose in 2018.
According to The Citizen, After JP’s retirement from international cricket in 2019, he focused on mentorship and charity work, while Sue pursued her business ventures in wellness and lifestyle.
