Cape Town – Eskom has suspended load shedding after implementing stage 3 power cuts from Friday to Sunday to replenish emergency reserves.
“Due to the sufficient replenishment of emergency reserves, loadshedding was suspended today at 6:00 in the morning. Eskom will provide updates if any significant changes occur,” the power utility said on Sunday.

After South Africa experienced load shedding for the first time in over ten months, Eskom assured citizens that there would be no rolling blackouts from Monday onwards.
Eskom said that the primary goal of load shedding was to restore reserves following breakdowns at six power units.
