Cape Town – Disaster management teams are on high alert across South Africa following rain warnings from the South African Weather Service (SAWS).
KwaZulu-Natal has been issued an orange level 8 warning for disruptive rain and flooding along the coast, with additional warnings for other regions.

Several areas in KwaZulu-Natal, including Ethekwini, Hluhluwe, and KwaDukuza, are expected to be affected by the storms.
Gauteng and parts of Mpumalanga, Limpopo, and the Free State are also under orange and yellow level warnings.
