Cape Town – ANC Deputy President Paul Mashatile has criticised the DA for neglecting poor areas like Khayelitsha during his visit to the Western Cape in preparation for the ANC’s 113th birthday celebrations.
Speaking after a church service in False Bay on Sunday, Mashatile highlighted issues such as unemployment, crime, and inadequate service delivery in Khayelitsha.
“During the election campaign, I came to Khayelitsha with Deputy Minister of Human Settlements Tandi Mahambehlala other leaders and there are high levels of unemployment, particularly amongst young people, problems of crime and they continue to raise those kind of issues,” Mashatile said.
