Cape Town — Simone Cowburn, the sister of Reeva Steenkamp, has criticised Oscar Pistorius for his new girlfriend, who bares a striking resemblance to her sister.
Pistorius, who was released from prison in January this year after he murdered his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in February 2013, has allegedly found new love. The former Paralympian, who is now living with his uncle, allegedly started a relationship with 33-year-old blonde business management consultant, Rita Greyling, The Citizen reported.
It is believed that Rita and Oscar are now in a romantic relationship, and while the details remain private, the two have known each other for many years. It is not the first time that Greyling has made an appearance in the news.
Her family was in the news after 29-year-old farmer, Willem Kruger, drowned in November 2022 at Greyling’s brother’s stag party at the Henbase Lodge near Morgenzon.

However, the shock comes due to the incredible resemblance Rita and Reeva share. Reeva’s sister, Simone, shared her shock over the similarities in looks that the two women share, The South African reported.
“I have goosebumps and shivers going down my spine at this moment. What shocks me is that she looks so much like my Reeva. She is the same build, the same face and hair, even the same eyes. Is he that sick that he wanted to find a lookalike?” she said.
She questioned why he killed Reeva and then replaced her with another version of her sister. Simone also pointed out another similarity, this time in their names.
“But what then hit me that was even spookier was that when I looked at both their names, I saw that Reeva begins with an R and ends in an A, and so does Rita. I just went cold when I realised that. This thing just gets creepier and creepier for me,” she added.
