Cape Town – Sports, Arts, and Culture Minister Gayton McKenzie is offering free tickets to Chris Brown and Makhadzi concerts for fans who cannot afford the prices.
“Ke Dezemba is opening tomorrow, I will be giving away tickets here on social media to @MakhadziSA & @chrisbrown shows to people who cannot afford them. This is not government money. Let’s have fun and support these superstars,” the minister said in a post on X.

Chris Brown is set to perform at the FNB Stadium on December 14 and 15, following high ticket demand, while Makhadzi will take the stage at Peter Mokaba Stadium on December 21.
McKenzie, who previously purchased over 200 tickets for Makhadzi’s concert amid a public dispute about government support, announced the giveaway on social media.
The gesture received mixed reactions online, with some praising his generosity and others offering satirical responses.
