Cape Town – A South African lottery player won the R19,081,940.30 Lotto jackpot in the November 20, 2024 draw.
Two players matched five numbers plus the bonus ball, each winning R43,234.10, while 36 players matched five numbers, earning R4,177.20 each.
The Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 jackpots had no winners and will roll over to Saturday, with estimated jackpots of R24 million and R11 million, respectively.
National Lottery operator Ithuba revealed that R257 million worth of lottery prizes remain unclaimed across all games.
Significant unclaimed prizes include a R3.4 million PowerBall Plus jackpot purchased in Limpopo, which expires on January 19, 2025.
If unclaimed within 365 days, winnings are forfeited and allocated to community causes via the National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund, Ithiba said.
