Cape Town — Rachel Kolisi has revealed that she and her children have returned to Paris to say goodbye to their friends and teachers, amid her divorce from Springbok captain, Siya Kolisi.
Rachel and Siya dropped a bombshell last month when the couple announced their split via Instagram. Since the divorce, life has moved on for the two as Siya has had to maintain his focus on the Springboks, while Rachel attended the Earthshot Prize and has focused on doing things for her kids.
She posted an Instagram story and revealed that she took Nicholas (10) and Keziah (7) back to Paris and revealed the stress behind their flights, but ultimately she stayed calm.
“Very interesting start in London this morning. Landed in London from SA last night, up at 04:30 to make (an) early flight to Paris. Couldn’t get on the flight, took a 1.5-hour taxi to the train station, and paid a small fortune for our tickets. But we all stayed calm, laughed at how ridiculous this morning has been and kept it moving,” she wrote.
Rachel said she did not know that she and the kids would be coming back to Paris after they had left in July, but she was happy her kids got the chance for closure.
“I’m taking them to Paris so they can say goodbye to all their friends and teachers. We didn’t know we weren’t coming back when we left in July – important they get to have closure too,” she wrote.
