Cape Town – An armed robbery occurred at Johannesburg’s Clearwater Mall on Tuesday, leading to warnings for residents to avoid the area.
According to The Citizen, a security officer was shot during the suspects’ escape, and five suspects remain at large.

The suspects reportedly fled in a silver Honda Accent.
Social media users shared updates from inside the mall, with one account confirming the robbery targeted a jewellery store.
Clearwater Mall is trending in South Africa because a jewelry store in the mall located in Johannesburg, was invaded by armed robbers who carted away a yet undetermined amount of jewelry during a robbery, earlier today.
