South Africa’s Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) has warned that South African citizens joining the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) could face prosecution for violating international law.
Footage in the documentary shows unarmed civilians being shot, and one soldier described Gaza’s population as akin to the “Amalek,” a symbol of evil in Jewish folklore.
