Cape Town – Jozi FM presenter Penny Ntuli shared her harrowing experience of being trapped on the N3 during a snowstorm while travelling to KwaZulu-Natal for a funeral.
Initially excited by the snowfall, her fear grew as the snow reached her car door, and two people tragically died from hypothermia during the storm.

Ntuli, who suffered mild hypothermia, expressed gratitude to colleagues who stayed in touch and has taken a short break to recover, IOL reported.
“It was not by our own wisdom to survive this but it was by God’s grace, the snow was literally as high as my vehicle’s door level. I did not think we’re going to make it,” the report quoted her as saying.
Jozi FM listeners and social media users have sent well-wishes.
Ntuli has been nominated for a SATMA Award for Best Traditional Social Media Influencer.
