Cape Town – Gauteng residents should prepare for a cold snap this week, with temperatures expected to drop significantly starting Friday, regional forecaster Gauteng Weather has said.

After weeks of mild weather, Johannesburg is forecasted to see temperatures ranging from 4°C to 16°C, while Pretoria will experience a low of 5°C and a high of 18°C.
