Cae Town – Members of the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party who missed the initial swearing-in of Parliament on 14 June were sworn in on Tuesday.
The boycott was over election results.
Judge President Patricia Goliath presided over the ceremony, while National Assembly speaker Thoko Didiza administered the oath.
Among the new members were John Hlophe, now leading former president Jacob Zuma’s political party, and Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla.
Other notable members include Des van Rooyen, Andile Mngxitama, and Zizi Kodwa, despite his corruption charges.
The party, taking 58 seats, is the third largest in Parliament.
