Morocco’s EuroMed University of Fes is preparing to introduce a School of Digital Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. It will be dedicated to AI research, development and education.
As reported by Morocco World News, the facility is a continental first, and will offer more than 30 undergraduate and graduate programmes, including training at Bachelor, Masters and Doctorate levels on robotics, AI, cybersecurity, web technologies and more. The institution will also be supported by France’s École Polytechnique, a university renowned for its engineering and polytechnic programmes.
With the opening set for September 2019, the centre will accommodate 100 science graduates, selected through a competition that received more than 1 500 applications.
